Diana's Burgers: Crafting Irresistible American Burgers in San Antonio

Great flavors, plenty of parking and THE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING. These people are sooooo nice. They not only served up some for burgers but also gave us tons of ideas for the rest of our trip. True hospitality at its best!!!!

The quintessential San Antonio burger joint! The kind of burger I grew up craving and eating here in the Alamo City. Enjoy a burger with cheddar and jalapeños, add some pico de gallo, and try the fresh cut fries (which feel like a unique treat these days compared to most restaurants’ fries). The mango margarita is a winner and sometimes I get a bottle of beer. Friendly staff and good service. Note: there’s extra parking across the street.

Absolutely the BEST burger I have ever ate. I come all the way from the north side when I want the best! Totally worth the price & drive. HIGHLY recommended.

Awesome dining experience for my family and I. What a blessing it was to meet the owner and have him greet us as we sat down. He food tell us that we would have to come back again as the burgers are very good. He wasn't lying at all. Delicious burgers, fries, nachos and grilled cheese. We want to thank you the owner and his family/team for giving us a blessed experience here at Diana's. We will return just like the doctor ordered.

The best burger without any stress. Great location, excellent flavor without skimping on the taste. So happy they are less than 2 miles away.

1st time that we tried this place. It had really good burgers comparable to Ch Madrids. Same family same recipes. I liked that it wasn't overly crowded like Chris's. If you like that type of burger but not the crowdness, this would be a great place. Polite customer service, good food with decent prices is definitely a winner. We will be returning again.

The pink building immediately catches your eye, and walking in feels cozy—almost like dining at a favorite aunt or uncle’s house where everyone gathers around the table. I ordered the bacon cheddar burger with fries, and my husband tried the bean burger. My burger had nice flavor, though the fries were a bit plain. My husband felt his burger was okay but could’ve used a bit more seasoning. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice spot to try.

So, I finally tried Diana’s Burgers, and let me tell you — this thing was massive. Juicy, greasy, and everything you want in a burger that’s gonna make you question if you should’ve brought wet wipes. The patty was loaded with flavor, the veggies were fresh, and the whole thing hit like a nostalgia trip back to the old Chris Madrid’s days (which makes sense, because the owner used to run that place). Now, to be fair — if I’m putting Diana’s and Chris Madrid’s head-to-head, I’ve still gotta give Madrid’s the win. They’ve got the atmosphere, they serve alcohol, and the remodel definitely gives it a more lively feel. Diana’s leans more “throwback diner” — not bad, just… could use a little facelift. Fries were alright, nothing groundbreaking, but they did their job. Overall though? The burger itself is a solid 10/10. Not the best in San Antonio like some reviews claim, but easily one of the better ones. Just come hungry, bring napkins, and expect to leave full and happy.
